What goes in the pouch

Keep photocopies of everything below in a waterproof zip-lock bag or dry pouch. Originals stay at home in a secure location.

Identity

• CNIC (front and back) for every family member
• Passport bio page for every family member
• Birth certificates
• Nikah nama / marriage certificate
• Children's B-forms

Property & finance

• Property ownership documents (registry)
• Vehicle registration book
• Bank account numbers + branch details (written, not just in an app)
• Insurance policy numbers

Medical

• Blood types for every family member (written clearly on the pouch exterior)
• Current prescriptions list
• Vaccination records
• Any allergy information

Contact sheet

One laminated card with:

• Emergency contacts (family, neighbours, doctor)
• Rally point addresses (see Guide: Family Emergency Plan)
• CNIC numbers of all family members
• Bank helpline numbers
• Embassy contacts if relevant

Storage tips

• Use a zip-lock bag inside a dry bag for double waterproofing
• Store in the same spot as your go-bag, next to it rather than inside it, so you can grab both
• Take photos of every document and store them in a password-protected folder on your phone and in cloud storage
• Update every 6 months or when any document changes

Digital backup

• Scan everything at 300 DPI minimum
• Store in a password-protected cloud folder (Google Drive, iCloud)
• Share access with one trusted family member
• Keep a USB drive copy in the pouch as well
